Requirements
- Advanced degree in a scientific or medical discipline (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent)
- 8–10+ years of experience in medical communications or promotional medical education
- Strong expertise in promotional medical education deliverables
- Experience in rare disease
- Solid understanding of medical writing standards (AMA style)
- Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific and clinical data
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead scientific strategy and content development for assigned accounts across multiple therapeutic areas
- Oversee the creation and quality of promotional medical education deliverables including advisory boards, speaker programs, and slide decks
- Serve as a senior scientific lead in client interactions
- Partner with client services teams to develop scopes of work, project timelines, and resource allocation plans
- Provide strategic input into brand planning and business development
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams
