Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or active progress toward CFP
  • Experience using financial planning software such as eMoney
  • Strong understanding of tax, estate, insurance, investments, and employee benefits
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present financial planning cases for clients and prospects, typically within the $5M–$15M asset range
  • Develop, analyze, and refine comprehensive financial plans and wealth management strategies
  • Participate in client and internal planning calls, including debrief sessions and role plays
  • Maintain and enhance client financial plans using planning tools
  • Gather and organize client data in preparation for planning meetings
  • Contribute to thought leadership and content development, including webinars and articles
  • Support business development efforts by identifying prospects
  • Engage in ongoing client reviews and strategy updates
  • Collaborate with senior planners and cross-functional teams
