Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles
- Expert-level experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or Pulumi)
- Strong experience with AWS or GCP, with ability to adapt across cloud platforms
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Go, Python, Node.js, or Bash
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline design and modern deployment strategies
- Experience working with cloud networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, encryption, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, consulting-style or multi-client environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in client-facing or freelance/consulting environments is a strong plus
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Pulumi
- Build, optimize, and secure containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes across production systems
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and release workflows across environments
- Architect and operate cloud-native solutions on AWS or GCP, including compute, storage, networking, and databases
- Implement secure networking architectures including VPC design, load balancing, VPNs, routing, and private connectivity
- Develop automation scripts and tooling using Go, Python, Node.js, or Bash to improve operational efficiency
- Ensure system reliability through monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response best practices
- Deploy and manage serverless and event-driven architectures using cloud-native services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver scalable and secure infrastructure solutions
- Contribute to security practices including encryption, secrets management, and compliance standards such as SOC2, GDPR, or HIPAA
