Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental, mechanical, or chemical engineering.
  • At least 8 years of air quality program and project management experience.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with air regulations.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Advanced degree in engineering (preferred).
  • Professional registration such as C.I.H. or P.E (preferred).
  • Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead business development and project management for air quality projects.
  • Perform emissions quantification, carbon/climate change programs, and environmental impact assessments.
  • Provide technical leadership for regulatory analyses (Clean Air Act, GHG programs).
  • Deliver consulting services for air permitting (NSR, PSD, Title V, EPCRA).
  • Conduct dispersion modeling and health risk assessments.
  • Collaborate on energy-related NEPA tasks.
  • Manage and mentor staff, providing technical oversight and risk management.
  • Support recruiting and training of additional staff.
