Requirements
- Strong hands-on parabrokering experience with operational and leadership capability
- At least 6 years of experience in Australian residential mortgages
- Strong credit knowledge across multiple lenders and lending policies
- Confidence handling complex lending scenarios (trusts, self-employed, investment)
- Strong exposure to lenders such as CBA, St George, Macquarie, and Bankwest
- Experience working across at least two Australian mortgage firms
- Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching team members
- Systems- and process-driven mindset
- Proficiency with ApplyOnline, Mercury, Quickly, and Asana
- A calm, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
Responsibilities
- Loan writing / parabrokering for residential home loans (40%–70% of the role)
- Day-to-day management of a three-member offshore team
- Regular coaching and mentoring of team members
- Daily pipeline management in collaboration with the onshore team
- Proactively resolving lender policy issues and problems
- Building and improving workflows to enhance turnaround times and accuracy
- Implementing improvements across software, AI tools, and automation
- Collaborating with technical workflow consultants
- Developing and tracking reporting measures and performance metrics
