Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, preferably in GCP.
- Experience with observability tools (monitoring, logging, tracing).
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Bash, Java, or Go).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to collaborate with network and application security teams.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools like Claude, Copilot, and Gemini.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with technical and non-technical staff across departments on workflow automation (crons, n8n, Airflow).
- Run outage incidents and work within compliance requirements.
- Coordinate sprints and collect metrics for management reporting.
- Maintain and improve incident response processes and monitoring tooling.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure is compliant with security and regulatory standards.
- Design, implement, and maintain GCP cloud infrastructure.
- Build automation to reduce toil and enable self-healing infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide support for infrastructure and observability tools.
