Requirements
- Background in manufacturing or logistics systems, PLC, or robot programming.
- Practical experience in software operations, infrastructure, and observability.
- Experience with testing and deployment pipelines including quality assurance.
- Familiarity with Kotlin and SpringBoot.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Linux.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL.
- Experience with OPC-UA, PLC (e.g., TIA), and robot programming (e.g., KRL).
- Understanding of the commercial impact of system downtime.
- Willingness to travel to the manufacturing site in Richen.
- Willingness to travel within Germany and Austria for in-person events.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and operate software for logistics and manufacturing use cases.
- Manage hybrid infrastructure (cloud/on-prem) and complex software deployments at scale.
- Monitor, maintain, and improve software uptime, latency, and efficiency.
- Apply PLC or robot programming experience to build flexible manufacturing solutions.
- Act as a bridge between digital product delivery and physical manufacturing systems.
- Troubleshoot software developed during working hours at the factory.
