Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Planning, Environmental Studies, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in transit, school transportation, or fleet electrification.
- 7+ years of program and project management experience overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- 5+ years of business development and partnership cultivation experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing clean transportation programs and zero-emission bus deployment.
- Deep understanding of policy, regulatory, and market drivers in the bus sector.
- Knowledge of battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell technologies.
- Proven team leadership and staff management experience.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and operational planning capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Bus Initiative strategy and operational plans.
- Oversee major program portfolios, including demonstration projects and fleet transitions.
- Lead and mentor a team of program managers, technical experts, and analysts.
- Partner with business development to secure funding and build coalitions.
- Provide subject matter expertise on zero-emission bus technologies and charging infrastructure.
- Represent the organization at industry forums and public events.
- Manage initiative-level budgets and hiring plans in partnership with leadership.
