Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, law or related field.
- 3 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to analyze regulatory requirements and determine compliance actions.
- Excellent communication and consulting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with financial platforms (Salesforce, NetSuite, Coupa, SharePoint, Conga, Workday).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer prize winner tax compliance including withholding and IRS reporting.
- Manage routine licenses and permits for charitable gaming and alcohol.
- Prepare, review, and file regulatory reporting for sales and use tax, property tax, and business licenses.
- Monitor and maintain exemption statuses and certificates across jurisdictions.
- Interpret and apply changes in IRS, state, and local regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation and internal controls.
- Assist with unclaimed property filings and serve as a backup to Sr. Consultant roles.
