Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in alumni relations, community engagement, or nonprofit programming.
  • Proven experience in managing complex, relationship-driven programs.
  • Ability to build and sustain relationships with volunteers and external partners.
  • Excellent project management skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Experience translating strategic goals into operational plans and systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to use data and engagement metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute alumni engagement initiatives by managing key programs, systems, and partnerships.
  • Oversee the Alumni Mentorship Program including recruitment, onboarding, communications, and evaluation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni mentors, speakers, volunteers, and community leaders.
  • Coordinate alumni micro-grants and local engagement opportunities.
  • Implement local alumni engagement strategies in collaboration with regional teams.
  • Facilitate alumni involvement in teen programming through mentorship and volunteer leadership.
  • Develop scalable systems and processes to improve alumni identification and engagement.
  • Support alumni participation in major experiences like conventions and retreats while tracking metrics.
  • Execute segmented communication strategies across email, newsletters, and digital platforms.
