Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- 3–5 years of experience in alumni relations, community engagement, or nonprofit programming.
- Proven experience in managing complex, relationship-driven programs.
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with volunteers and external partners.
- Excellent project management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Experience translating strategic goals into operational plans and systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to use data and engagement metrics to drive decision-making.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with adaptability.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute alumni engagement initiatives by managing key programs, systems, and partnerships.
- Oversee the Alumni Mentorship Program including recruitment, onboarding, communications, and evaluation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni mentors, speakers, volunteers, and community leaders.
- Coordinate alumni micro-grants and local engagement opportunities.
- Implement local alumni engagement strategies in collaboration with regional teams.
- Facilitate alumni involvement in teen programming through mentorship and volunteer leadership.
- Develop scalable systems and processes to improve alumni identification and engagement.
- Support alumni participation in major experiences like conventions and retreats while tracking metrics.
- Execute segmented communication strategies across email, newsletters, and digital platforms.
