Requirements
- 5–8+ years of backend engineering experience in production systems
- Practical experience with Event Sourcing and CQRS
- Deep knowledge of Domain-Driven Design including bounded contexts and aggregates
- Expertise in PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization, and pgvector
- Production-level experience with AWS or comparable hyperscalers
- Proven experience working in regulated environments (fintech, banking, insurance)
- Senior-level ability to make architectural decisions independently
- Experience coordinating or leading other engineers
- Willingness to work in Go is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and build an event-sourced backend architecture for regulatory-grade auditability
- Develop multi-tenant data architecture with strict data isolation and RBAC
- Build batch data ingest pipelines from custodian banks and PMS
- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS Frankfurt region
- Engineer advisory workflow engines and automated compliance processes
- Integrate AI/RAG pipelines for document assembly and meeting briefing generation
- Implement compliance infrastructure including PII anonymization and encryption
- Coordinate the freelance senior full-stack engineer and perform peer reviews
- Set engineering culture and technical standards from day one
