Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in IR, corporate affairs, or finance within biotech/pharmaceuticals.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting a company through late-stage clinical development, regulatory milestones, and/or commercial launch.
  • Deep understanding of capital markets, investor expectations, and valuation drivers.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical development, regulatory pathways, market access, and commercialization strategies.
  • Proven ability to influence and advise senior executives.
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex scientific/clinical information.
  • Proven experience managing high-profile investor interactions during periods of corporate transition.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • High level of executive presence, credibility, and judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for enterprise-level IR strategic planning and long-term external positioning.
  • Serve as a spokesperson to institutional investors, analysts, and stakeholders.
  • Advise senior leadership on investor sentiment and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications to shape the company narrative.
  • Lead quarterly earnings and financial communications strategy.
  • Drive investor targeting, conferences, and non-deal roadshows.
  • Partner with R&D, clinical, regulatory, commercial, and finance teams.
  • Anticipate and address investor inquiries.
  • Ensure best practices in disclosure, compliance, and governance.
