Requirements
- 4+ years of core accounting experience, from an accounting firm or a fast-growing corporate environment.
- CPA License preferred, or actively working towards obtaining it.
- Experience preparing financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and PBC lists.
- Tech-savvy mindset with a strong interest in utilizing AI tools (like Claude) to optimize financial workflows.
- Strong technical foundation in full-cycle accounting, transactional reconciliations, and balance sheet hygiene.
- Direct experience working in high-growth B2B SaaS (nice-to-have).
- Familiarity with multi-currency intercompany activity or sales tax nexus configurations (nice-to-have).
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the accounting and finance teams to support core operational lanes.
- Drive a timely and accurate month-end close process by performing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances.
- Support internal and external AP workflows and assist with regular revenue accounting.
- Prepare, organize, and detail-review Provided by Client (PBC) lists and supporting schedules for statutory audits.
- Post journal entries, execute account reconciliations, manage intercompany activity, and review balance sheet/income statement metrics.
- Leverage and own workflows within NetSuite, Avalara, Carta, Google Workspace, Rippling and AI tools like Claude to automate routine tasks.
