Requirements
- CPA required
- MS in Taxation strongly preferred
- 10+ years of public accounting experience with leadership or review capacity
- Mastery of tax strategy development
- Deep fluency in individual and business taxation (1040s, 1120-S, 1065)
- Experience with multi-state and multi-entity structures
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships at an advisory level
- Experience managing or developing tax staff
Responsibilities
- Lead the tax department as the senior technical authority.
- Drive Tax Advisory Services (TAS) growth.
- Manage, develop, and coach tax staff.
- Oversee compliance and ensure returns are accurate and deadlines met.
- Implement tax strategies for clients.
- Build and maintain client relationships at the advisory level.
- Participate in the firm's leadership team.
- Develop systems for department operations.
