Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of public accounting experience
- 5+ years of private accounting experience (CPG, beauty, retail, or consumer products preferred)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting best practices
- Hands-on experience with Certinia (FinancialForce) or similar cloud-based ERP systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including reconciliations and data analysis
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Execute and support month-end close activities
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, and accruals
- Maintain general ledger records in compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Support financial statement and management reporting package preparation
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and COGS analysis
- Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
- Act as key system user for Certinia/FinancialForce
- Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and strengthen internal controls
- Contribute to scalable accounting process development
