Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • 2+ years focused on hiring technical roles (Engineering, Data, Product).
  • Proven success recruiting for rapidly scaling startups.
  • Experience building or improving talent acquisition frameworks and processes.
  • Ability to act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers.
  • Proficiency with modern ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby).
  • Strong sourcing capabilities using modern tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Juicebox).
  • Knowledge of structured assessment methods and tools.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with employer branding and talent marketing initiatives.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote-first, fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of compensation benchmarking and offer negotiation practices in Canadian markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, focusing on exceptional technical talent.
  • Partner with hiring managers to refine roles and manage the hiring process.
  • Build talent pipelines using smart sourcing strategies.
  • Maintain ATS (Greenhouse) data and pipelines.
  • Own recruiting coordination, including scheduling, offers, and background checks.
  • Track recruiting metrics and share insights.
  • Improve interview frameworks and training resources.
  • Use structured assessment tools for hiring decisions.
  • Train and coach hiring managers on interview best practices.
  • Analyze candidate NPS surveys to improve hiring experience.
  • Champion an exceptional candidate journey.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on employer brand initiatives.
  • Provide market-informed guidance on compensation and talent trends in Canada.
  • Support broader recruiting needs as required.
