Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/master's degree in stem or equivalent experience
• Understanding of secure coding principles
• Experience as lead on projects or technical components
• Experience with aws cloud infrastructure
• Experience building complex systems
• Expertise working with javascript, node.js, and mongodb
• 6+ years of development experience in core coding languages
• 3+ years of experience building scalable web applications using node.js
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals
• Significant experience creating api’s using openapi specification and tools

Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement a large, secure and scalable distributed system
• Build well-documented, repeatable api’s
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance and enhancement of systems
• Perform peer code reviews and code audit
• Unit test modules and integration testing with other modules
• Create tools, libraries, and frameworks for developers
• Collaborate with ux designers and front-end developers to ensure seamless flow and interactivity
