Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Five or more years of sales experience in the financial services industry Strong SBA industry experience required Proven sales ability in serving the financial needs of Small Business Owners Proven production "SALES" of $20MM+ per year over the previous three years Marketing and risk management experience Strong credit and commercial lending skills Working knowledge of financial statements, cash flow analyses, and loan structuring Basic understanding of the SBA Loan Program Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Strong account relationship management and business development/b2b sales skills An active referral network is preferred Must provide a production report showing consistent selling of SBA loans for the last 3+ years at a rate of $20mm+ per year
Responsibilities:
Oversight of all aspects of Small Business Administration (SBA) customer relationships Originate Small Business Administration (SBA) loans, equipment leasing and Asset-Based Lending (ABL) financing transactions Develop and cultivate relationships with customers and brokers Utilize networking and referrals to generate business leads Develop and expand market penetration in assigned locations and markets Demonstrate the value of the Bank’s entrepreneurial lending philosophy Develop marketing and sales strategy Generate leads, develop financing applications, submit loan packages to underwriting, and present loan credits to the Credit Committee Recognize target market credit opportunities and present funding solutions Obtain customer-signed commitments after loan approval and coordinate funding Achieve annual production goals Active use of Salesforce and other supporting origination systems
