Senior Front End Engineer, Experimentation

5+ years of hands-on, post-grad, non-internship professional Software Development experience. Proficiency in front-end technologies, including TypeScript/JavaScript with experience in component frameworks (React, Angular, Lit). Demonstrated experience in developing end-to-end web applications at scale, from API design to user interface implementation. Demonstrated ability to integrate front-end systems efficiently. Expert with software engineering best practices such as unit testing, code reviews, design, and documentation. Demonstrated ability to develop scalable, well-designed software. Experience working with an experimentation platform or measuring impact of FE work using experimentation or measured rollouts. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively in a fully-remote environment and negotiate complex requirements.

Design, develop, scale, and support Reddit’s Experimentation Platform. Design and implement a UX to help product teams conduct better experiments and make decisions faster. Develop and operate high scale data products focusing on reliability, trustworthiness, and debuggability. Increase developer efficiency through automation and system optimization. Collaborate cross-functionally to find technical solutions. Participate in the full development cycle: design, development, impact assessment, and deployment. Build and drive a vision for the experimentation platform. Steer high-leverage projects aligned with Reddit’s goals. Build an end-to-end Experimentation Platform UX. Amplify by mentoring and collaborating with other technical contributors.
