Requirements:
10+ years of successful experience leading sales teams focused on scientific tools and/or software. At least 5+ years in a senior leadership position (VP or Sr Director equivalent). Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Protein Science, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or similar Life Sciences education is ideal. Proven ability to manage and inspire a geographically dispersed, high-performing sales organization. Deep knowledge of the biopharma industry, including development processes, workflows, IT ecosystems, and purchasing behaviors. Ability to build trust and long-term partnerships with clients. Experience with a best-in-class enterprise sales framework. Strong cross-team collaboration skills. Curiosity about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies. Demonstrated record of delivering revenue targets and building sales teams. Strong ability to engage and align with executive leadership. Advanced communication and presentation skills. Strong project and program management capabilities. Metric-based leadership and disciplined use of sales methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Own and deliver annual global bookings targets. Lead, structure, and scale the global Sales organization. Build and develop an international sales team. Oversee and expand strategic customer relationships. Manage and grow the global sales pipeline. Direct and manage distributor and channel partner relationships. Establish best-in-class practices for forecasting, quoting, and sales process management. Partner with Customer Success and Services leadership. Collaborate with Marketing for lead generation and sales enablement. Identify and develop new revenue-generating services and partnerships. Contribute to company strategy and growth initiatives. Drive cross-functional alignment with Marketing and Engineering. Coach and mentor sales talent.
