5G Embedded Software Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (MSc is a plus). Familiarity with 5G technology, physical layer protocols, and C-V2X. Expertise in embedded system programming with C/C++, compilers, build, and source code control tools. Fundamental Linux administration skills. Experience with remote machines (SSH) and command-line usage. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively with team members. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Develop and maintain software for 5G devices in physical field locations. Enable device-to-device communication using C-V2X and D2D protocols. Program Qualcomm C-V2X chips for reliable device communication. Validate device-to-device connections without base station or core network involvement. Maintain system security by ensuring device-to-device connection obscurity. Develop algorithms for 5G device performance and power consumption management. Design and implement software to handle failures for uninterrupted 5G service. Test and verify 5G device performance in various environments and stress situations. Conduct system integration testing for seamless interoperability. Research emerging technologies in 5G and D2D communication.
