Requirements:
- CA Intermediate (semi-qualified) with 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Industry experience in accounting and taxation, with expertise in TDS and GST.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or Zoho.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
- Strong understanding of India GAAP and Taxation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to adapt and learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for inter-department collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions in the company’s accounting system.
- Process payments through the banking portal, including vendor, supplier, and employee transactions.
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of accounts payable invoices into the accounting tool and process payments in accordance with approval processes.
- Create accounts receivable invoices and record receipts.
- Handle reimbursements and bank & credit card-related entries.
- Perform monthly reconciliations for cash, bank, and credit card balances, as well as vendor accounts.
- Prepare GST and TDS return data on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of month-end journals, including prepaids, provisions, depreciation, work papers, and reconciliations.
- Generate cash flow, bank, and MIS reports on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Draft and review compliance reports for GST, TDS, advance tax, and other statutory obligations.
- Assist in internal and external audit queries.
- Stay updated on statutory laws related to payroll, including gratuity and provident fund.
- Work closely with Admin and HR teams to streamline inter-departmental queries and processes.
- Support other departments as required to maintain operational efficiency.
