Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in payroll management.
  • CPP certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with payroll and HRIS systems such as ADP, Paychex or Workday.
  • Experience with Rippling is a plus.
  • Highly organized and proactive with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Cross collaborative internally and externally.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process bi-weekly, semi-monthly and off-cycle payrolls accurately and efficiently in compliance with federal, state, local, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with monthly payroll reconciliations, maintaining documentation and investigating variances.
  • Ensure accurate entry of employee salaries, reported hours, commissions, bonuses, severance pay, garnishment requests, and deductions.
  • Work with the Equity Team on ISO, NSO and RSU payroll processing.
  • Address payroll inquiries and communicate with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee relationships with external service providers, including 401k administrators and tax preparers.
  • Collaborate with People Operations to develop procedures for record keeping and process improvements.
  • Prepare and review supporting schedules for financial statements, audits, and tax returns.
  • Assist with Employee Benefit Plan audits and Form 5500 preparation.
  • Manage multiple assignments and deliverables with a focus on communication.
