Requirements:

• Ten (10) years in EH&S roles with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team.
• Proven experience in creating and executing strategic plans.
• Expertise in relevant regulations such as Health and Safety Act and Environmental Protection Agency regulations.
• Experience with ISO standards related to EH&S.
• Knowledge of document control software like Safety Chain.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Create an all-encompassing EH&S strategy aligned with company vision.
• Collaborate with senior leaders on EH&S goals.
• Develop an EH&S framework with tailored policies and procedures.
• Ensure consistent application of the EH&S framework across operations.
• Identify KPIs for tracking EH&S effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.
• Oversee internal and external EH&S audits.
• Prepare EH&S reports for stakeholders.
• Build and mentor an exceptional EH&S team.
• Integrate EH&S practices with other departments.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
• Create and deliver EH&S training programs.
• Stay updated on EH&S trends and implement innovative solutions.
• Pursue accreditations for ISO14001 and ISO45001.
