Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with applicable patient care and administrative duties preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology, medical equipment, HIPAA compliance, and OSHA regulations.
  • Required certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, MAC, etc.) or a valid state license as a Practical Nurse.
  • Must possess the computer skills necessary for online learning and access to forms and policies.

  • Manages provider's patient portal messages and sorts them as needed.
  • Closes the loop with patients on requests, questions, or concerns.
  • Ensures documentation accuracy in patient electronic health records.
  • Communicates with the clinical care team as necessary.
  • Models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
