Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience within Information Security, specifically in leading Security teams in Detection & Response domains.
• Experience in building and scaling security operations or incident response programs in a high-growth technology environment.
• Track record of leading and developing leaders, including managing geographically distributed teams.
• Deep technical understanding of modern security tools, threat detection methodologies, and incident response procedures.
• Experience in establishing security metrics programs and communicating with executive stakeholders.
• Success in recruiting, retaining, and developing diverse security talent.

Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple teams across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK to provide Threat Intelligence, Detection & Hunting, and Incident Response capabilities.
• Set a clear mission, vision, and strategic direction that inspires security engineers and aligns with business strategies.
• Coach Detection & Response team leads to deliver impactful roadmaps and build engaged teams.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders to align security initiatives with company objectives.
• Communicate insights from threat intelligence and security incidents to inform risk management.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing across security engineering teams.
