Business Development Manager (Sri Lanka & Maldives)

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or data analysis.
• Online travel background (GDS, OTA, Meta Searches, bus/ferry companies, TMS etc.).
• Strategic business-oriented thinking based on data.
• Familiarity with tech stack: Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Analytics, Google Docs.
• Proactivity in closing agreements and finding growth solutions.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Good understanding of competitors and the market of travel, ground transportation in the LK/MV would be a plus.
• Ability to travel within the region.
• Previous remote work and industry-related experience would be a plus.
• Travel experience in the LK/MV region would be a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong and long lasting relationships with all LK/MV operators.
• Assist Finance Team on reconciliation of balances/invoices and check on remaining deposits.
• Assist with sales estimation during peak season.
• Strategize on how to grow the local market particularly in LK/MV.
• Work closely with Marketing Team to promote the local market and reseller/affiliate program.
• Find new local operators in LK/MV and try to maximize profit.
