Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in an Insurance program or related program.
• Minimum of 5 years of liability claim handling experience in different states.
• Experience with commercial lines and transportation liability.
• Strong technical skills with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Claimants, Brokers, and Legal Counsel.
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate work.
• Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work on some weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and adjudicate complex claims, including those in litigation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of bodily injury claims involving company vehicles or drivers.
• Conduct comprehensive investigations to confirm coverage and assess liability.
• Prepare detailed file summaries for internal reporting and reinsurance purposes.
• Ensure all bodily injury claims are handled in accordance with best practices and company policies.
• Handle stressful calls professionally, providing clear and factual information.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Effectively manage a busy day-to-day schedule while prioritizing tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies through regular reviews and monitoring.
• Process IRP applications and maintain accurate records for vehicle maintenance.
• Manage vendor relationships for settlement of claims.
• Be available on-call for serious accidents and other necessary duties.
