Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting or related discipline is required.
  • 4-5 years of related experience in Tax Accounting is required.
  • Previous experience in Mexican taxes, taxes audit is required.
  • Knowledge of equipment financing, particularly transportation equipment, would be considered an asset.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Good time-management skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategical thinking.
  • Fluent English is a must.
Responsibilities:
  • Organize and update the company's tax database.
  • Prepare tax payments and estimate and track tax returns.
  • Complete quarterly and annual tax reports.
  • Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals.
  • Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns.
  • Share financial data with the accounting department to ensure compliance with tax requirements.
  • Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits within tax regulations.
  • Follow industry trends and track changes.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance.
  • Forecast tax predictions to senior managers to inform business.
