Requirements:

• 7+ years of senior leadership in Denver organizations working in related issue areas.
• Deep understanding of the local landscape and strong relationships with key community stakeholders.
• Adept fundraiser with demonstrated ability to identify, cultivate, and close new sources of investment.
• Proven ability to build strategic partnerships that lead to impact.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to build authentic connections with community stakeholders.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and collaborative leadership style with a strengths-based approach.
• Proven experience building and scaling a team and programs for sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Holistic responsibility for the execution of APA’s Partner City strategy in Denver.
• Recruit new organizations to join the community and lead their onboarding.
• Ensure high engagement and satisfaction of all participating organizations and leaders.
• Lead fundraising to sustain and grow the Denver Alliance.
• Build and lead a high-performing team, including hiring and onboarding new staff.
• Contribute to APA’s national strategy and ensure effective tracking of local data and metrics.
