Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field; AHIMA certified HIM Program or Nursing Program preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in revenue cycle management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Extensive coding background; CCS certification preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide operational oversight for Revenue Cycle Services, aligning initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Maintain customer retention and satisfaction by proactively resolving issues and anticipating client needs.
  • Report ‘at-risk’ accounts to VP according to guidelines and policies.
  • Support client account review meetings to discuss performance metrics and trends.
  • Ensure team members maintain established customer service and productivity standards.
  • Oversee daily operations, including forecasting, onboarding, and training.
  • Collaborate with Auditing and Education department for coding audits and quality assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with internal coding policies and practices.
  • Oversee performance of offshore partners and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and implement development plans for staff.
  • Monitor new account start-ups to ensure a seamless transition from Sales to Delivery.
  • Evaluate department budget and propose process improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor staff time and implement strategies for utilization and capacity planning.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to drive alignment and achieve objectives.
  • Build partnerships across departments to enhance service delivery.
  • Foster a culture of trust and transparency within the department.
