Senior Software Engineer - Wine Journey

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript language and its nuances.
• Experience with React Native and Expo ecosystem including EAS, Yarn, Babel, and Metro.
• Familiarity with Redux, Redux Persist, and React Hooks.
• Knowledge of offline-first/syncing frameworks such as WatermelonDB or Realm is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Values empathy and collaboration with proven ability to work effectively in teams.
• Self-motivated with a bias for action.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product and design to develop and deploy app-based features that empower users to track their wine journey.
• Assess technical feasibility of designs while understanding UX design principles.
• Investigate and resolve bugs within the product.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Create clarity from ambiguous requirements and seek assistance when needed.
• Own the quality and timely delivery of work, ensuring end-to-end project delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high-quality codebases.
