Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • CPA qualification.
  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading an Accounting function.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Proactive and efficient approach.
  • Excellent people skills for building strong relationships.
  • Strong system skills, including Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookups) and Finance systems (NetSuite is beneficial but not essential).
  • Strong analytical ability to analyze P&L statements.
  • Experience in managing new acquisitions and integrating them into a group is useful but not essential.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the entire Month-End process is performed timely and accurately.
  • Manage day-to-day operations ensuring all basic accounting functions are being performed properly.
  • Oversee various account reconciliations.
  • Analyze financial reports pre-close and post-close.
  • Perform monthly and ad-hoc reports for the executive team.
  • Oversee the commissions and bonus process.
  • Assist in internal and external Audit Requests.
  • Assist with Federal/State Tax filings.
  • Ensure proper filing of Sales Tax.
  • Oversee Budgets and Forecasts for 4 US businesses.
  • Manage back office functions for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Recommend improvements to accounting systems and processes.
  • Control monthly recognition of revenues and cost of sales.
  • Maintain Fixed Asset Register and WIP accounts.
  • Oversee intercompany processes.
