• Strong understanding of distributed protocol design with the ability to identify trade-offs in blockchain deployment.
• Ability to identify mechanism design problems and propose solutions.
• Familiarity with Ethereum and different L2 designs.
• Ability to express thoughts precisely.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in research on L2 designs, including prover coordination and sequencer design.
• Investigate levels of finality and L2 governance.
• Examine consensus algorithms and their advantages and disadvantages.
• Analyze various staking models and associated systemic risks.
