Pre-Press Operator / Design (Work from home)

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of pre-press experience in print or packaging companies.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently and display initiative.
• Experience in a sheetfed or digital print organization preferred, but candidates from wide format or packaging backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Pitstop, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience with outputting to Offset Printing Presses, Digital Presses, and wide-format inkjet devices.
• Knowledge of Prinect Cockpit and Signa is an advantage but not necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Flight checking artwork and amending files as necessary.
• Conducting graphic design work and liaising with sales/clients on briefs.
• Proofing and preparing files for printing.
• Communicating with printers and engaging outsource suppliers for jobs.
• Monitoring email communication, following up on tasks, and participating in huddles.
