Requirements:
  • Understanding of social media and communications best practices.
  • Hands-on knowledge of social media management tools like Sprout Social.
  • Understanding of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.
  • Proficiency with at least four social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit).
  • An analytical eye for content performance based on platform and objectives.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and aptitude for forging relationships across teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong content marketing ability.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, schedule and publish content across multiple social media platforms.
  • Share regular updates and reporting on social media metrics, content performance and campaigns results.
  • Support the growth and nurturing of Canonical’s social media audiences, while increasing engagement rates and valuable actions.
  • Develop flair with copywriting and asset creation to create messaging that aligns with the brand and its personality.
  • Be responsible for executing A/B and multivariate growth tests.
  • Be audience centric, focusing on platform and community moderation.
  • Create awareness on integrated campaigns, product launches, and core content.
