Requirements:

• Minimum of three (3) years experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or family medicine as an APP.
• Two (2) years experience in rural medicine as an APP.
• Must hold an active unrestrictive license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Ability to provide compassionate care and establish rapport with patients.
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies, including lab work and patient medical records.
• Broad knowledge of common medications, side effects, and contraindications.
• Respect for patient confidentiality and desires.
• Multiple APP licenses are a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Ask intuitive questions to discover causes of illness, injury, or other medical issues.
• Reach informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and patient’s medical history, examination, and test results.
• Prescribe and interpret lab tests for further information.
• Prescribe medications and give comprehensive administration instructions.
• Collaborate with the medical team for effective care.
• Continuously learn for better patient outcomes.
• Cultivate trust and compassion with patients.
• Adapt to overcome issues for patient benefit.
