Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in medicine, nursing, bio-informatics, pharmacy, etc.
• Minimum of ten years of experience as a clinical informaticist.
• Experience validating, interpreting, and analyzing clinical concepts and data.
• Proficient in creating value stream maps of current clinical workflows.
• Advanced skills in MS Forms, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and reporting/analytics tools.
• Excellent written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Work within a cross-functional agile team of SMEs, Health Informatics Specialists, and clinical professionals.
• Assess and analyze clinical workflows across VHA to improve healthcare outcomes.
• Create lean business cases with feature descriptions and metrics.
• Develop training documents for EHR with terminology, graphics, and narratives.
• Analyze clinical workflows and data to define new patient care improvement approaches.
