Requirements:

• Essential experience with operating systems: UNIX, Linux, Ubuntu, PowerShell, and bash Windows.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, Percona, Couchbase, and NoSQL concepts.
• Proficiency in languages like Shell, T-SQL, and PL/SQL.
• GCP experience, specifically with Cloud SQL.
• Desirable experience includes web application specific technologies, RabbitMQ, Jenkins, and Spanner.

Responsibilities:

• Design databases with capacity management and incremental load considerations.
• Maintain and monitor database solutions.
• Perform performance tuning including indexing, partitioning, and load balancing.
• Develop disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity.
• Troubleshoot database performance issues and collaborate with development teams to design solutions.
• Ensure security and compliance across all database systems.
• Execute database upgrades and manage database ACLs.
• Automate database processes as much as possible.
• Analyze informational needs and propose data structures to enhance database performance.
