Requirements:

• 8+ years of relevant accounting and leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting or Finance.
• CA / CPA certification and strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Proficient in complex accounting concepts including Revenue Recognition and Stock Compensation.
• Experience in managing financial close processes and operational controls.
• Experience in a small, high growth B2B Enterprise SaaS environment.
• Customer-oriented, team player with superior problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Google and Microsoft tools such as PivotTables.
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERPs, and knowledge of Bill.com, Expensify, Shareworks, Salesforce, and Quickbooks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly close processes, including general ledger review and reconciliation of P&L and balance sheet.
• Oversee all accounting activities such as accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and contract management.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team.
• Provide analyses to identify financial issues and fluctuations.
• Review and implement process improvements focusing on optimization and controls.
• Manage relationships with external accounting firms and advisors.
• Conduct annual external financial statement audits.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with VP Finance & Operations on governance, analyses, budgeting, and forecasting.
