Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of payroll processing, systems, and regulations, particularly in multi-country contexts.
  • Knowledge of local and international tax laws, labour regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Experience with payroll software, HRIS, and related tools for efficient payroll processing.
  • High level of precision in payroll data processing and tax calculations.
  • Ability to analyse payroll data, identify discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation.
  • Skilled at troubleshooting payroll discrepancies and compliance issues.
  • Proactive in identifying inefficiencies and recommending payroll process enhancements.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery of tier 1 and tier 2 payrolls in line with departmental KPIs and SLAs.
  • Execute departmental-level projects and contribute to key results (KRs).
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on payroll processes.
  • Monitor and maintain payroll-related tools, including cost calculators and gross-to-net calculators.
  • Provide expertise and support on customer calls for allocated payrolls.
  • Complete all assigned tasks accurately and on time, including payroll accounting, payslip production, and payments.
  • Act as a resource for payroll administrators, offering guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Drive knowledge creation by identifying gaps using Salesforce and developing knowledge articles.
  • Document and maintain departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process guides.
  • Proactively communicate variances and changes to customers and stakeholders.
  • Manage legislative changes impacting tier 1 and tier 2 payrolls, ensuring all effects are understood and communicated.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for all payroll-related processes.
