Requirements:

• At least three (3) years of working experience using models and algorithms in a business setting with a PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field, or at least five (5) years experience with a MS in a related field.
• Experience in implementing machine learning techniques in real-world settings, including regression, neural networks, and clustering.
• Strong communication skills for presenting data insights clearly.
• Ability to independently find data, identify issues, and experiment with modeling and optimization solutions.
• Expertise in scripting languages like Python or Julia.
• Experience in data extraction via query languages and from object storage buckets.
• Solid experience in literature review and deriving key insights.
• Ability to collaborate with different departments and partner with software engineers to strengthen data sources.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with company stakeholders to identify how data can improve systems and uncover insights.
• Stay updated on data science techniques and recommend appropriate methods.
• Work with experimental teams to design effective experiments.
• Develop new machine learning methods.
• Evaluate literature and assess the technology landscape for various applications.
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate algorithms into robust pipelines.
• Create interactive data visualization tools.
