Manager, Corporate Accounting

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in people management
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting or closely related field
• CPA license strongly preferred
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX, and financial statements
• Ability to understand technical accounting concepts and topics
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred
• Willingness to approach tasks hands-on and balance requirements of both preparing and reviewing deliverables

Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly close process across a variety of accounting topics
• Review accounting workpapers and own internal control documentation for corporate accounting processes
• Prepare and review corporate accounting schedules required as support for quarterly and annual filings
• Interact with external and internal auditors as representative of the corporate accounting team
• Actively scale accounting processes through system implementations, automation, ERP enhancements, and process improvements
• Work cross functionally with other internal teams to gather data, resolve issues, and scale our business processes
• Provide analysis of variances between financial results month-over-month and quarter-over-quarter
• Ensure consistencies in processes between domestic and international accounting teams
• Lead, train, and mentor a small team of accountants, managing performance, hiring, and disciplinary efforts on an ongoing basis.
