Requirements:
  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, ideally with knowledge of React/React Native.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms, especially AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
  • Strong experience in building scalable software architecture with understanding of microservices, serverless, and monolithic designs.
  • Proven ability to lead software projects from concept to deployment, including experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Dynamo).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with software and hardware integration.
Responsibilities:
  • Full-Stack Development: Lead and execute the development of Planboo’s software products across both front-end and back-end systems.
  • Technical Leadership: Set and implement the technical strategy, design software architecture, and establish best practices for the development team.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with the product team to continuously improve existing products and develop new features aligned with our roadmap.
  • Team Mentorship: Guide team members as the team grows, providing technical mentorship and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Integration with Hardware Products: Ensure seamless software-hardware integration to enhance the performance of Planboo’s biochar technology.
  • User Feedback & Testing: Conduct user testing, gather feedback and implement improvements based on real-world experiences.
  • Scalability & Performance: Design systems that are robust and capable of handling increased user demand.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the founders and other departments to align software solutions with business goals.
