Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
  • Undergraduate or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or mathematics.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, ideally within high growth startups/scaleups in financial services or technology.
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills and experience with financial planning software (e.g., Anaplan) and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker).
  • Effective communication skills, with ability to influence Senior Leadership stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of developing process improvements for FP&A.
  • Ability to provide insights from data to drive financial performance.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused mindset with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working at a Tech or Fintech company.
Responsibilities:
  • Leading financial review of automation, GenAI, and other initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Leading part of the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes in collaboration with Senior Leadership and stakeholders.
  • Owning and managing key financial models within Member Operations to forecast financial performance.
  • Developing financial models for scenario analysis and assessing impacts of strategic initiatives.
  • Using large datasets to identify risks and opportunities, providing insights to Senior Leadership.
  • Coaching and mentoring FP&A Analysts and reviewing their work.
  • Developing policies for financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Implementing process improvements.
  • Business partnering with area/unit leaders to improve financial performance.
  • Driving roadmap items for the financial planning system (Anaplan).
  • Owning the business case tendering process for projects in Member Operations.
