Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience with at least 1 Production Cost Modeling Software such as PROMOD, PLEXOS, AURORA, ENCOMPASS, or DAYZER.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Proficient in power system powerflow tools like TARA, PSS/E, or PSLF.
• Experience in electric markets such as CAISO, PJM, ERCOT, or NYISO.
• Working knowledge of NERC planning standards.
• Experience with Python, Java, or similar programming languages desired.
• Experience with data visualization tools like ArcGIS or PowerBI desired.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Provide market analytical support and insights for BESS, renewable, and hybrid projects.
• Mentor and guide teammates.
• Research and develop production cost models and validate data.
• Work with stakeholders to establish assumptions for market potential and project risks.
• Conduct near and long-term production cost studies to forecast price impacts and performance.
• Evaluate the feasibility of project green-fielding or acquisition.
• Prepare summaries, reports, and materials for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop processes and automation for efficient workflows.
