Requirements:

• Master's and/or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or auditing.
• Deep understanding of US tax regulations.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a highly ranked accounting position, preferably in the travel industry.
• Experience in managerial positions, including budgeting, planning, financial reporting, and risk management.
• Understanding of GAAP, IFRS, US taxes, and preferably EU tax compliance.
• Experience with Excel, Google Workspace, Xero, or similar software.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly close including balance sheet reconciliations, posting revenue and journal entries.
• Prepare timely monthly financial statements.
• Develop and enforce internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Establish budgets and reporting standards in coordination with management.
• Analyze variances to support budget objectives and recommend improvements.
• Manage payroll and contractor payments, and fulfill compliance with legal requirements.
• Assist with year-end tax requests, audits, and special reports.
