Requirements:

• Master’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or auditing.
• Deep understanding of US tax regulations is a must.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior accounting position, preferably in the travel industry.
• Experience in managerial roles involving budgeting, financial reporting, and risk management.
• Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and familiarity with EU tax regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of cash flow management and cost reduction methodologies.
• Experience with accounting software like Xero and proficient in Excel and Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with ISO certification standards would be a bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly close including reconciliations, revenue posting, journal entries, and expense accruals.
• Prepare and deliver timely monthly financial statements.
• Develop and enforce internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Establish budgets, KPIs, and reporting standards in coordination with management.
• Analyze variances and support budget objectives with necessary corrective actions.
• Manage payroll, benefits, and compliance with legal requirements.
• Track deferred revenue and perform cash flow management.
• Assist with year-end tax requests, audits, and ad hoc reporting.
