Senior Network Engineer (US IT Services, Home-based)

Requirements:

• Windows Server
• Active Directory
• VMware (i.e. ESXi, vCenter)
• Storage (i.e. SANs)
• Azure virtual machines, storage, and networking
• AWS EC2, EBS, and VPC
• Industry certifications (HPE, AWS, Azure, Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, VMware are nice to have).
• VDI experience with Citrix (nice to have).
• Linux server experience with Ubuntu Server, RedHat, and CentOS (nice to have).
• Switching & routing technologies, specifically Cisco, Meraki, and Aruba (nice to have).
• NAC technologies, specifically Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, and Microsoft NPS (nice to have).

Responsibilities:

• Level 1-3 systems/network troubleshooting and helpdesk support work.
• Daily hands-on interaction with networks, systems, cloud, voice, and users.
• Assist senior engineers with support and projects.
• Major role on monitoring and managing customers (multi-tenant client NOC).
• Help maintain managed services monitoring.
• Onboarding of new client network infrastructure.
• Monitor any active issues and alert client-side personnel.
• Troubleshooting and escalating as needed.
• Fulfill certification and training roadmap as set by senior staff and management.
• Work outside of standard business hours for scheduled updates.
