Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or a related field strongly desired.
• Candidates with a pending bachelor's degree or proven sales experience may also be considered.
• Understanding of cattle husbandry, management practices, and nutritional guidelines is essential.
• Competent in providing accurate feeding and management recommendations.
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn ration balancing software and Salesforce.

Responsibilities:

• Calling on beef cattle animal owners to evaluate existing feeding programs and recommend nutritional solutions.
• Selling and consulting at the farm gate with the goal of selling Purina products through up to 25 farm calls each week.
• Developing new prospects and conducting sales cold calls.
• Organizing and conducting educational events for various local groups to enhance brand image and drive sales.
